Well May was a month of change. Lockdown started to be eased – probably a bit too quickly for my liking, however we do have to balance physical health, mental health and wealth. I still don’t feel happy going out, so I have been making the most of my garden and the glorious weather
Harries Ground Coffee – lovely tasting ground coffee delivered effortlessly to my door from a local supplier. There is also an excellent video which teaches you how to make great coffee in a cafetiere. No more take away coffee for me!

No Mow May – A chance to not mow your lawn and then count the wild flowers that have sprung up. This goes into a national database and you get an idea of how many bees your lawn can support. Mine was mainly daisies but the result was that i am supporting 200 bees. Not bad for my small patch of lawn.

My local Co-Op has started to increase its veggie/vegan food offering so out of curiosity I tried the GRO Chunky Vegetarian Pasty. IT was really nice – my one comment being that it could do with a bit more filling (but I think this is a common pasty problem!). Will definitely be eating it again.
Pebble Magazine I recently met the founder of this magazine which focuses on living an ethical and sustainable lifestyle. I’m loving the articles and the Facebook Group is also a great community to join. I am discovering a lot of small businesses with lovely things to buy.
